POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Systems Engineer with a passion for cybersecurity, cloud architecture, and large-scale IT solutions in the federal space. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of systems engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity and cloud security within a government agency (DoD or VA experience preferred).
- One or more of the following certifications: IAT II, IAM II, or IASAE II.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity engineering requirements and authorization processes (FedRAMP, RMF).
- Strong background in IT and cloud design, security, and systems engineering.
- Proven track record of success with large-scale cloud solutions for federal or commercial industries.
- Solid experience with Federal A&A and ATO activities.
- Deep understanding of federal policies, processes, and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cybersecurity Hero: Translate complex cybersecurity engineering requirements into secure and efficient systems and applications that meet stringent standards (FedRAMP, RMF, ATO).
- Cloud Champion: Design and implement scalable cloud solutions, ensuring compliance with federal security guidelines and regulations.
- Federal Policy Guru: Stay up to date with federal policies, processes, and standards, and seamlessly incorporate them into your work.
- Collaborative Innovator: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide expert guidance on system security and architecture strategies.
- Documentation Master: Lead A&A (Assessment & Authorization) activities and prepare comprehensive technical documentation.
