- Assess and monitor patients with respiratory conditions to develop individualized care plans
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies in accordance with physician orders and protocols
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health, treatment techniques, and equipment use
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal diagnostic and treatment strategies
- Document patient care accurately and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition
- Maintain clinical competency and attend required training and staff meetings
- Follow all hospital safety and infection control procedures
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited two-year Respiratory Care program
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC
- Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Current certifications in ACLS, NRP, and PALS; BLS required within 30 days of hire
- Two (2) years of acute care respiratory experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to care for patients across the age spectrum
- Physically able to lift, move, and support patients and equipment as needed
