Position: Senior Multimedia Designer
Job Type: Full Time
Mode of Work: Position offers both on-site and remote flexibility depending on location
Location: SteerBridge Headquarters, Vienna, VA (Tysons Corner)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Multimedia Designer to join our Creative Team and bring a balanced mix of traditional graphic design, motion storytelling, and 3D media skills. In this role, you’ll craft high-impact visuals—from animated brand content to immersive product showcases—across digital, video, and presentation platforms.
This is a hands-on creative role for a designer who thrives at the intersection of brand expression, storytelling, and emerging media, not product interface design.
Key Responsibilities
Design Across Media: Produce creative assets for digital and print—web graphics, product UI visuals, social media content, presentations, infographics, and branded documentation. Tailor each design to its medium while maintaining consistency and impact.
Motion Graphics & 3D Animation: Create animated videos, explainer graphics, micro interactions, and 3D visualizations for marketing, product demos, and in-app experiences. Bring static designs to life with movement, storytelling, and emotional resonance.
Digital Design Support: Collaborate with teammates to create design assets that elevate brand and product narratives across formats such as presentations, animations, and video walkthroughs.
Marketing & Presentation Design: Design dynamic marketing materials including pitch decks, campaign graphics, and product overviews. Transform complex ideas into visually compelling, easy-to-understand layouts for internal and external stakeholders.
Content Creation for Deliverables & Performance Artifacts: Develop high-quality visual content for deliverables such as reports, white papers, and slide decks. Create and maintain a visual library of past performance case studies, presentation templates, and reusable assets for proposal and client-facing use.
Brand Consistency: Uphold and evolve our visual identity across all platforms. Ensure every asset—from a landing page animation to a proposal deck—aligns with brand guidelines and contributes to a unified design language.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously. Work closely with stakeholders (product managers, marketers, engineers) to scope needs, set timelines, and deliver creative work on schedule.
Innovation & Exploration: Stay ahead of trends in digital design, motion, and interactive media. Experiment with emerging technologies (e.g., Lottie animations, AR/VR visuals, generative design) to elevate the creative output. Mentor junior designers as needed in design principles and tool mastery.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital design, graphic design, or motion/multimedia production. Portfolio must showcase a range of work including digital campaigns, motion graphics, product UI visuals, and 3D or interactive design.
Digital Design Expertise: Advanced understanding of layout, hierarchy, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling. Strong ability to design web, mobile, and presentation formats in a modern, clean, and user-centered style.
Must-Have Tool Proficiency:
Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro
3D & Animation: Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar
Bonus: Experience with motion scripting, Lottie animations, or interactive frameworks (e.g., Framer)
Nice-to-Have Tool Proficiency:
Figma (for cross-collaboration)
Web-based CMS like HubSpot (helpful but not core)
Creative & Technical Agility: Able to jump between creative formats (static, animated, 3D), think through responsive layouts, and work closely with product or front-end teams to deliver dev-ready visuals.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and provide feedback constructively. Comfortable engaging across departments to understand needs and iterate on design.
Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and keep track of assets, versions, and documentation.
Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Digital Media, Multimedia Arts, or equivalent work experience.
Note: We’re looking for a senior-level creative with a portfolio rich in motion graphics, 3D visualization, and brand storytelling—someone who designs with purpose and brings ideas to life across screen and print.
