🎯 What You'll Do
- Design enterprise-scale data architectures that enhance security, reliability, and operational efficiency for VA systems.
- Lead data modernization initiatives for critical systems.
- Develop metadata strategies and implement robust data governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with VA standards and federal compliance requirements.
- Enable advanced analytics and compliance reporting capabilities that drive better outcomes for veterans.
🔧 What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
- U.S. Citizenship (required for security clearance)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of data architecture and enterprise data modeling experience
- Experience with AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, and cloud data warehousing
- Ability to work on-site in Tysons Corner, VA (5 days/week)
Bonus Points:
- Federal healthcare or claims systems experience
- VA-specific systems knowledge
- ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar data modeling tools
- FHIR, HIPAA, CCPA compliance experience
