SteerBridge Strategies, a Veteran-led small business, is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our growing team based at our headquarters in Tysons Corner (Vienna, VA). This is your opportunity to lead cloud transformation initiatives that modernize complex enterprise systems at scale.

What You’ll Do:
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you’ll lead the design, deployment, and governance of secure, high-availability environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will:

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures using modern tools and platforms
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) and best practices
• Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions
• Lead cloud modernization and digital transformation efforts across enterprise platforms
• Conduct architecture reviews, cost optimization, and risk assessments
• Present detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment strategies
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and compliance trends

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on cloud engineering and architecture
• Expertise in at least one major platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Professional-level certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Architect Expert)
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to brief both technical and business stakeholders

Location:
Must be local to the Washington, D.C. metro area and able to work on-site at our Vienna, VA office (5 days/week). Relocation assistance is available for highly qualified candidates.
