🚀 We’re Hiring: Quality Assurance Engineers (Mid-Level – 3+ Years)

SteerBridge Strategies, a Veteran-led small business, is seeking Quality Assurance Engineers to join our growing team based at our headquarters in Tysons Corner (Vienna, VA). This role offers the chance to support a major federal transformation effort by testing and validating complex systems that serve Veterans and federal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll work alongside developers, analysts, and stakeholders to design and execute rigorous test plans that ensure the functionality, security, and accessibility of software systems. You will:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases for UI, API, performance, and security layers
• Use tools like Selenium, JMeter, TestRail, and Postman to ensure end-to-end software quality
• Conduct Section 508 accessibility testing to meet federal compliance standards
• Identify and log defects using tools like Jira and collaborate with developers for resolution
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and deliver robust solutions
• Support CI/CD pipelines and testing automation in agile development environments
• Maintain technical documentation for test plans, test cases, and defect tracking

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance or software testing
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, JMeter, TestRail, and Postman (or similar tools)
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility compliance
• Understanding of QA best practices in agile/scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD testing automation and pipeline integration
• Strong documentation, analysis, and bug tracking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Location:

Must be local to the Washington, D.C. area and able to work on-site at our Vienna, VA office (5 days/week). Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates.
