🚀 We're Hiring: Software Engineers (All Levels – Junior, Mid, Senior)

SteerBridge Strategies, a Veteran-led small business, is looking for Software Engineers at all experience levels to join our growing team based at our office headquarters in Tysons Corner (Vienna, VA).

What You’ll Do:

From day one, you’ll work on projects that matter. Depending on your level of experience, you’ll:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to refine the product backlog, build microservices, integrate APIs, and support secure DevSecOps practices.
• Ensure solutions are Section 508 compliant and aligned with federal cybersecurity requirements.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and ongoing optimization of systems supporting millions of Veterans.

Required for All Levels:

• U.S. Citizenship & ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Location: Must be local to the Washington, D.C. area and able to work 5-days a week from our company headquarters located at 8521 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA 22182 (Non-Local candidates MUST be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance can be provided.)

Proficiency with:

• React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
• SQL and NoSQL databases
• Git, APIs (REST/SOAP), and CI/CD
• Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• Agile development

🔹 Senior Software Engineers (8+ yrs) should possess:

• Full-stack expertise: React.js, Node.js, Java/Spring
• Strong VA systems experience (preferred)
• Lead development of APIs/microservices with FHIR compliance

🔹 Mid-Level Software Engineers (4–7 yrs) should possess:

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, DevOps tools, accessibility standards

🔹 Junior Software Engineers (1–3 yrs) should possess:

• Solid foundation in JavaScript, Git, HTML/CSS
• Passion for learning, debugging, and collaboration
