Position: Data Architect
Job Type: Full Time, Hybrid (Candidates should be local to SteerBridge HQ will be expected to work from the office a minimum of three (3) days a week.)

SteerBridge is on the hunt for a Data Architect ready to make a tangible impact on data-driven strategy and infrastructure! If you’re passionate about managing data architecture, problem-solving with code, and translating complex data into real-world solutions, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Design and align data solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, manage pipelines, and optimize data quality and integration.
• Oversee Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and cloud storage to support dynamic data requirements.
• Build automated, efficient workflows with Python, JavaScript, SQL, and more.

The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of data systems and business configurations, demonstrating proficiency in data management activities, data linkage and integration, quality assurance, analysis, and documentation. The ideal candidate for this role is results-oriented, innovative, and adept at distilling complex data into meaningful insights.

Minimum Required Experience and Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Masters’s Degree or Above in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience.
• Active Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one (requires U.S. Citizenship)
• 7+ years of experience in data management, utilizing advanced analytics tools and platforms and Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Data Warehousing consulting/engineering or related technologies (Redshift, Databricks, BigQuery, OADW, Apache Hive, Apache Lucene).
• 2+ years of experience in scripting, tooling, and automating large-scale computing environments.
• Extensive experience with major tools such as Python, Pandas, PySpark, NumPy, SciPy, SQL, and Git; Minor experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
